Matthew Johnson, M.D.

Dr. Johnson completed his training at the University of Virginia in 1989. He is board certified in Psychiatry and Internal Medicine, and this background guides his approach to the psychological and neurophysiologic aspects of his patients.

He works primarily with adults with depression and bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders and eating disorders. He also has an interest in patients with underlying medical or neurologic conditions and those with problems arising during pregnancy or the post-partum period.
