Established in 1998, Mental Health Associates of Maine is a multidisciplinary mental health practice representing over 100 cumulative years of clinical practice experience. Our staff is comprised of licensed psychiatrists who conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide psychopharmacological treatment, licensed psychologists who conduct a variety of psychological, neuropsychological, forensic, and psychodiagnostic evaluations, and psychologists and social workers who provide individual treatment with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
All members have received extensive training to work with people who present with a variety of issues, ranging from short-term solution based issues, to depression, anxiety, relational issues, trauma, and personal growth. Regardless of the treatment focus, our goal is to provide comprehensive outcome based treatment and evaluations. To facilitate this aim, we routinely collaborate and consult with other professionals, referring physicians, and other agencies to enhance the overall continuum of care.
Members have flexible hours and accept a variety of insurance plans including MaineCare and Medicare and our office is wheelchair accessible and is conveniently located in Portland.
